by Although I have had Southern Grove Wasabi Soy Almonds a million times, I decided that I needed to eat some if I was going to write about them. Well, I finished the bag, so that should tell you a little something about how I feel about these little nuggets of goodness. They have a ting of salt and a little sweetness with a wasabi punch. I don’t love plain almonds, but I do love these. Blue Diamond makes wasabi soy almonds as well and I have to admit that the Blue Diamond ones are more flavorful than the Southern Grove brand. Amazon sells the Blue Diamond version for $7.98 which comes out to $.50/ounce. Aldi’s version sells for $0.37/ounce, $5.15/bag. The price difference is why I haven’t bought the Blue Diamond ones in a very long time. If you like wasabi or spicy things and you like nuts then you are missing out if you haven’t tried these.
